  • Successful completion of a B.Sc. in the areas of Bioengineering or Biotechnology at either the Munich University of Applied Sciences or Weihenstephan-Triedsdorf or a comparable such B.Sc.
  • A GPA of at least 'good' (please contact the Office of General Studies, below).
  • A Completion of a practical internship semester in the undergraduate program or at least eighteen weeks of work in qualifying fields in the industry.
  • Foreign applicants whose mother tongue is other than German must demonstrate adequate knowledge of the German language to complete the study successfully.

  • Required Modules: These modules are to be completed. They comprise the comprehensive foundation for the sector of biotechnology and bioengineering and are the common basis for the course of study.
  • Concentration Modules: A catalog of these modules is offered, from which three modules are to be choosen. The student is expected to expand their knowledge through these modules in accordance with their interests and skills.
  • Interdisciplinary Modules: A catalog of modules is offered from which one is to be chose. This module serves to provide competence outside of the student's major concentration.
  • Sector Specific Modules: A catalog of modules is offered from which one is to be chosen. The modules are drawn from various technologies which are specific to each sector.
  • Elective Module: One module is to be chosen from any of the catalogs: Concentration, Interdisciplinary, or Sector Specific.
