Studying in the heart of Munich
With over 1800 students and more than 40 laboratories, the department is one of the largest technical departments at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. All our lecture halls and laboratories are just a few steps away on the Lothstraße campus.
Theoretical knowledge is applied and deepened in a lab class in almost all subjects. The small learning groups are individually supervised by our professors.
The networking of research, teaching and practice is important to us. Our teaching staff maintain intensive contacts with leading industrial companies and research institutions. During your studies, you can work on projects or implement your own ideas, for example with 3D printers or laser cutters.
Following our accredited Bachelor's and Master's degree courses, you also have the opportunity to do a doctorate at the department, either cooperatively with a university or at a gaduate school.
