Research at the Department
The Department of Applied Sciences and Mechatronics has been one of the strongest research departments at Munich University of Applied Sciences for many decades.
Our department continues to expand its application-oriented research with current topics. Close links between research and companies and authorities are just as important as the involvement of students in research projects, particularly in seminar papers and final theses.
For many decades, the Department of Applied Sciences and Mechatronics has been one of the most research-intensive faculties at Munich University of Applied Sciences. The breadth and diversity of the bachelor's and especially our master's degree programs we offer, in which not only the high-quality teaching is important but also a strong research inclination exists, offers a wide spectrum for possible cooperation partnerships.
In the numerous laboratories at the department 06, the professors are not only extremely versatile, but are also interested in sustainable projects, professional exchange, practical input, and networking and contacts in both directions.
