- Micro- and Nanotechnology: Simulation, Circuit Design, and Fabrication Processes
Two-semester, study-accompanying program in English language with its own certificate.
It is composed of selected subjects from the subject catalog for the Master's program in Micro- and Nanotechnology and a practical thesis. Competences in the fields of simulation technology, circuit technology as well as micro- and nanostructuring and manufacturing are taught and deepened.
Micro- and nanotechnology plays a key role in many fields of modern engineering sciences. Applications can be found in miniaturized sensors for the automotive industry, chip technology for mobile applications, laser technology, or memory devices.
As graduate from a technical study program of Munich University of Applied Sciences you can start your career in any of these fields. To facilitate the approach to these fields, you gain insight into three essential disciplines of micro- and nanotechnology in the two-semester certificate program. Next to a deepened theoretical understanding of each subject, you gain the ability to work practice-oriented and interdisciplinary on selected technical problems.
The enrollment in a non-chargeable engineering Master´s program at Munich University of Applied Sciences is prerequisite for admission.
The certificate typically extends over two semesters.
It is possible to start in the summer as well as in the winter term. Please apply at the Department of Applied Sciences and Mechatronics.
The courses are held exclusively in English. The final examination is offered in both German and English. The lab class involves working on a project in one of the participating laboratories.
