Our latest Photonics Colloquium delved into the cutting-edge advancements and exciting future prospects of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs)—miniaturized devices that integrate multiple photonic components on a single chip. These circuits are revolutionizing fields like telecommunications, sensing, spectroscopy and quantum computing.
We were honored to host Dr. Christian Nölleke from our Industrial Advisory Board Member of the Photonics Master’s program and director R&D for high-coherent laser systems at TOPTICA Photonics, who shared insights into this transformative technology.
A huge thank you to Dr. Nölleke for your time and for visiting our university!
